Available on the Apple image site is several images of the original Infocom games (Apple image format). In order to play these games you will either need an Apple computer or an emulator for your computer. See the Apple Games Index for more information.
It is important to remember that these games are copyright by Activision. It is the standard policy of the site maintainer that all uploaded Apple // images are kept on the site unless the owner requests that the images be removed. So decide yourself if you wish to download them.
Note that there are several tools in the Infocom Tools Index which can extract the data from some of the images to be played with any of the popular interpreters, but since such use is no longer using the images for the purpose they were intended (ie. to be able to play Apple games), this could be considered to be even naughtier.
In any case, the idea is: if you want to try the old games try them. If you don't, then don't.
